Candles for Halloween décor? Yes, please! Our collection is growing and we’ve added both beeswax and rapeseed options for you to choose from
The September weather has brought cold rainy days and shorter nights. The candle season has officially begun! Lighting a candle to soften the evening atmosphere is a natural part of some of our rituals. But why not make it a bit more fun and get your home ready for Halloween?
Heart of Europe Candles has grown its selection of Halloween candles, and you can add as much spookiness (or cuteness) to your Halloween décor as you’d like. Here’s what we are offering:
Pillar HALLOWEEN candles
Pillar candles are at the heart of our candle shop. Pure beeswax and rapeseed pillars are my speciality, and now you can choose from some Halloween designs, too! Choose from pure beeswax, or pure rapeseed for a vegan option. Both variants are unscented but as you’ve discovered by now, our pure beeswax candles have a natural mild honey smell.
Our mini pumpkins come in bags of 3, 5, 7 or 10 so that you can get as many as you need! They’re great for putting inside carved pumpkins, or just as a nice simple décor (that doesn’t have to be necessarily all about Halloween). They come in yellow beeswax or white rapeseed.
We’ve added cute ghost candles and a Column of Skulls candle to our selection, too! The ghosts come in yellow beeswax or white rapeseed, with two slightly different designs that you can choose. but you can also get a set of 3 at a better price. The Column of Skulls will add to the spooky Halloween atmosphere! It comes in white or yellow beeswax.
Place your candles on a holder!
I cannot skip this opportunity to remind you to always put your pillar candles on a suitable holder. Pillar candles (especially those of non-cylindrical shape) have the tendency to leak, so you’d better protect your furniture from leaking wax. There are so many beautiful options for candle holders that I’m sure you won’t have a problem finding one that fits well with your style. Read my blog post on my favourite finds for candle holders!
Also, candle holders help you collect leaking and leftover wax and return it back for a zero-waste approach! More on that below.
Jar candles
It wouldn’t be a special occasion if I didn’t make some cute jar candles for fun. You can find a Halloween Pumpkin candle, and a Spooky Bat candle among our unscented rapeseed jars. The colourful embeds in these jars are made with shimmering mica, so once lit, your candle will sparkle beautifully. It is also fun to watch the melting embeds as the flame dissolves them. You can do this with your kids, and use this as an opportunity to teach them about candle safety.

Return wax and jars for zero waste (and a discount)
If you are able to pick up your candles in person, I have good news for you! We collect Heart of Europe Candles leftover wax and jars, and give you a 10% discount on your next order! You can have your jars refilled (click here for scented candle refill, and here for unscented candle refill options), and I will use the returned wax leftovers either for candle testing, or for recycled wax freebies that go out with orders.
